ABV from the AICPA. The ABV credential
requires that the candidate must have at least
6 business valuation engagements completed within
24 months of passing the exam. This proves that
the candidate has adequate experience and competence
in the area of business valuation. The candidate
must also have completed 75 hours of business valuation
lifelong credits within this time in order
to receive the ABV credential.
In addition, only AICPA members in good
standing may retain this ABV credential
and must be re-certified every three years. With
